NYS ROUTE 41 to be closed

NYSDOT will be replacing a culvert on Rt41 in the Town of Sanford, just south of the intersection with Thorn Hill Road. Work will beging the week of August 17, with the roadway constricted to a single lane. Temporary traffic signals will be in place to direct traffic.

The culvert replacement will require a full closure for two days. This operation is weather dependent. The closure will be Thursday August 20 and Friday August 21.

During the closre there will be a signed detour route directing travelers to Route 17, Route 79 and Interstate 88.
